Hmm, never played Mass Effect (or any computer game in the last few months), although it is a place in Greek mythology which is pretty well-known, not least due to it being mentioned in Schiller's poem "Ode to Joy", which happens to be why I chose to name it this way.
Yes, of course, but I'm disappointed that graphics haven't improved over the last 2.5 years. Also, games are kind of a waste of time, time that could be spent researching or studying (oh, what a boring view that must be!)
well Crysis was meant to demonstrate just what is possible with computers, and it was made for extremely high performance machines, not average, mid-high range gaming systems like most games are. Game makers will always design their games for midrange PCs, as long as thats the largest market.
If you think about it, games are no more a time waster than TV or Movies.
I rarely watch TV or movies either. The zero development in the graphics department is all to blame on those crappy consoles; mainly PS3 and XBOX 360. These consoles have the same graphics performance high end dicrete graphics cards had 4-5 years ago (since most PC games are crappy console ports anyways).
