Another space scene...
The meteor that hits the planet is probably comparable to the Tunguska impact (1908) which, according to recent studies, was only equivalent to 3-5 megatons of TNT. [Thus it would only have produced an explosive fireball 5 km across.]
I'm pleased with this outcome, although the bottom part of the image could be chopped off so that it doesn't seem to be that empty. But the focus ascends to the top of the image nevertheless.

EDIT: OMFG! I wake up this afternoon, and now I see that I've gotten a DD, my first one! What can I say, I'm so thankful to `j4m3sb0nd for suggesting this, and of course ^gucken for featuring it! Thank you all for your support!

the dark, blackness of the spacial Void, contrasted with the spherical planet :earth::sun: is emotionally thought provoking!
the tiny comet is also a nice touch...
Good job, bro!:)
